We've all broken down on the side of the road at least once, I'm sure. I learned the hard way to always keep some emergency items on hand. I always have at least one bottle of each type of fluid, tire plugs, fix-a-flat, cleaners, road flares, jumper cables, a flashlight, and my personal favorite, the jump box.

I love having the jump box. If I'm stranded somewhere, and nobody can jump me, I can just hook it up, and start the car that way. It's super convenient. It's this exact one here.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

While it's not super heavy-duty, it gets the job done, and it was bought for me, so I can't complain there. Like I said, I love this thing.

I don't have one of those jump starters. But I have one of those small battery chargers that I can use at home if a car has been sitting for two long or had a parasitic drain. Pretty nifty.

I also have a small air compressor that is mobile and plugs into the cigarette lighter. I love that thing. Use it all the time.

A deployable reflective sign for when you are on side of the road for an issue, like a flat for example. You were required to have them in Germany and my family kept them and I keep one in my truck. Also a first aid kit.

As a gift my father gave me a portable air compressor that runs off 12 volt output on a car. It has bailed me and co workers out a time or two.

Not a bad idea. Especially with winter coming.

Agree. Cell phone is tops, and it's not even close.
